Zoggs Fusion Air Review: Excellent Vision, Questionable Stability
Zoggs Fusion Air Swimming Goggles with Titanium Lens
Swimming goggles should feel effortless clear vision, all-day comfort, and a fit so secure you forget they’re even there. And on first impressions, the Zoggs Fusion Air goggles seem to deliver exactly that, with their air-cushioned seals and wide, distortion-free field of vision designed to enhance both pool and open water swims.
In fact, they’re often praised for their comfort-first design and clarity, making them an appealing option for regular swimmers. But as with many comfort-focused goggles, there’s a trade-off and the real question is whether that soft, barely there fit can hold up when stability matters most. In this review, we take a closer look at where they truly excel and where they start to fall short.
Comfort & Fit
The Zoggs Fusion Air air-cushioned seal makes these goggles really comfortable to wear. They sit softly around the eyes without that intense suction feeling, which makes them easy to forget about once you’re in the water, in a good way.
Sizing
These come in one size, which is always a bit of a gamble. I got lucky and they fit me well, but there’s definitely an element of “hope for the best” here. If they suit your face shape, great, if not, there’s not much room to adjust.
Functionality
The rounded straps are the weak link. It doesn’t stay put on a swim cap, and I regularly found myself stopping mid-swim to fix it after it slipped down over my face. Even tightening didn’t fully solve the issue.
That said, leakage wasn’t really a problem unless the strap moved. When they were in place, they stayed watertight.
The titanium lenses are excellent for bright conditions. On sunny swims, they’re almost too good—I found myself taking them off just to re-acclimatise to how bright it actually was.
Vision clarity is a big win here compared to the Predator Flex. No blurring, no weird crossover in the middle, just a clear, consistent field of view. The curved lens also gives a noticeably wider perspective, which helps a lot with sighting and awareness.
Style-wise, they’re fairly neutral, silver titanium lenses with black straps. Functional rather than flashy.
Value
At £30, these are great value for outdoor swimming. You’re getting strong lens performance and solid comfort at a very reasonable price point.
Would I recommend?
Yes, but with a strap caveat. If you’ve got a grippy swim hat or don’t mind the occasional mid-swim adjustment, they’re a really strong option.
Final Verdict
A comfortable, clear-vision goggle that performs really well in bright conditions, but is held back slightly by a strap that refuses to stay where it’s told. When everything stays in place, they’re excellent—just not always reliable in practice.
